NHS Entitlements

Eye Examination

 

You are entitled to a NHS funded sight test if:

  • Age over 60
  • Under 16
  • 16-18 in full time education

 

Or if you receive any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Tax Credit ( have a NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate)
  • Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • Are prescribed with a complex lens

 

You are entitled to a voucher if:

  • Age under 16
  • 16-18 in full time education
  • Receive income based benefits ( shown above)
  • Named on a valid HC2 or HC3
  • Been prescribed complex lens voucher
